Windrush Community Fund

  • Who can apply? UK based charities and community and/or grassroots organisations
  • How much? Up to £25,000
  • Deadline date? 30 June at 11:59 pm

The successful organisations will raise awareness of the Windrush Scheme and Windrush Compensation.

The Windrush Scheme, launched in 2018, is to help people who are unable to prove their right to live and work in the UK or get a document to prove their lawful status. Under the Windrush Scheme, members can apply for documentation confirming their status free of charge.

Windrush Compensation, launched in 2019, compensates members of the Windrush generation and their families for the losses and impacts suffered because of not being able to demonstrate their lawful status.

Applications are encouraged from organisations that are led by affected communities or primarily work with affected communities that face difficulties showing their lawful status in the UK. Such as, individuals who suffered losses in proving their right to work, securing housing, or accessing healthcare.

Matthew Good Foundation Grants for Good Fund

  • Who can apply? Local community or voluntary groups, charities, or social enterprises with an annual income of £50,000 or less
  • How much? Up to £3,500
  • Deadline date? N/A

This fund is open to organisations that have a positive impact on communities or the environment. Charities can apply throughout the year, as £10,000 is shared between five organisations every three months in April, July, October, and January.

Assura Community Fund

  • Who can apply? Organisations that help to improve mental health and wellbeing.
  • How much? The maximum grant is £5000 over one year.

The Assura Community Fund supports projects that benefit the mental health and wellbeing of individuals who are living within a 15-mile radius of Assura-owned healthcare buildings.

Common Call Covid Relief Fund

  • Who can apply? Black-led charities and social enterprises working in communities across the UK
  • How much? £5,000 or £12,500
  • Deadline date? 25th June at 5 pm

This funding is prioritising organisations led by people with first-hand experience of the problem they are trying to solve. Particularly organisations that will benefit underserved communities by providing services to people that have been adversely affected by the COVID crisis.
