Charities Buying Group Announces New Framework in Development

The Charities Buying Group (CBG) is excited to announce that work is underway on a brand-new framework, designed specifically to support our charity membership.

We are currently in the framework design stage, where our team is carefully researching and planning to ensure this agreement reflects the real needs of the voluntary sector. By listening to our members and understanding their challenges, we are shaping a framework that will deliver value, compliance, and practical support to charities of all sizes.

This new framework will give charities access to pre-approved suppliers, save time on procurement, and reduce costs—while ensuring that every purchase is legally compliant and simple to manage.

As both an awarding authority and a contracting authority, CBG is uniquely positioned to remove the complexity of tendering. Our members will be able to buy directly from trusted suppliers once the framework launches, allowing them to focus more energy on delivering their mission.
